I'm a programmer, not a graphic designer... But, since I needed some imagery for various purposes as I started working my way through this blog, I dug around a bit and found a variety of images, icons, etc., that I thought worked well with the minimalist theme that I selected here. The Faenza Icon Theme
This is one of the more complete icon-themes I've ever run across that I liked, and I use it by preference on all my Ubuntu environments that have a GUI. These are the icons that I am using (or plan to use) for file-download links, and there are oodles more, should I discover that I need something else...
